Regular Members
Regular Members also known as Lender Members consists of organizations that are actively engaged in marine lending. These organizations extend or originate marine credit to consumers, retailers, dealers, or manufacturers of recreational boats and equipment.
Lender Members include:
- Commercial Banks
- Savings & Loan Companies
- Credit Unions
- Retail Loan Service Companies
- Financial Institutions
Associate Members
Associate Members consist of all the other companies or organizations that operate within the marine lending industry.
Associate Members include, but are not limited to:
- Marine Documentation and Title Services
- Marine Recovery Agents
- Marine Insurance Agent & Carriers
- Marine Surveyors
- Marine Software & Valuation Services & Publications
- Admiralty Attorneys
- Marine Industry Consultants
Reciprocal Trade or Honorary Members
Reciprocal Trade or Honorary Members are industry associations or individuals who represent a particular segment of business within the overall marine industry. Similar to the NMLA, these groups or individuals have a vested interest in the success of the marine industry. Reciprocal Members extend like benefits from within their respective Associations or Organizations to the NMLA and its members.
